What is the benefit of choosing an apprenticeship over university?
Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining experience in the workplace, as well as having support from your employer to achieve a recognised qualification. You can start earning money without the worry of tuition fees, with the added bonus of potentially securing a permanent role at the end of your apprenticeship.
Can I still apply if I don’t have any previous work experience?
Definitely! At GenGreen we know how hard it can be to find your first work opportunity, and the employers we work with understand that too. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key when writing your applications.
Can I work in the green industry if I don’t have any scientific or technical qualifications?
Absolutely, there are career opportunities available in business, communications, human resources and much more which don’t require any background in these subjects, but you will still be supporting businesses and organisations working to tackle the climate emergency!
